Kumshungba Private Limited is a small scale industry of manufacturing herbal products of natural origin.Synthetic compound in skincare and healthcare causes unwanted ill side effects.  We make safe products. A brand kumshung has been trademarked.  Value added products with small volume and high value needs to be produced as we are surrounded by nine mountain ranges.Formulation is our trade secret.

My innovation was the driving force which initiated the start up and in  many challenging  times it was my sincerity and perseverance which kept me working to reach  this stage.Products and process are protected and in process of protection in IPR. It was the start up idea stage fund and the supportive ecosystem in Manipur which further helped us endure covid and Manipur crisis.

We were a proprietorship firm but we are a private limited company now. We have achieved to get the North East Ignite grant. We are supplying products to hotels in Manipur. Our products and factory which are updated are undergoing certification for chemical free safe products.

My business is very closely connected with me. It is the outcome of my long more than ten years research shaping into product. And it will reach out to poor unemployed tapping Manipur’s rich bioresources solving global problems.

I would like to share to new aspirants that the ecosystem in Manipur is very supporting and the government is giving a rolling advertisement all year round for fund.  It is simpler comparatively in Manipur to start up if one is sincere and willing to work.
